Can characters can make or break a story? One of the things readers remember most about a story is the characters. Great characters make a great story. Developing great characters can make your novel more enjoyable to read and leave readers wanting more. Join us on February 21st 2013 at 7PM at the Highlands Ranch Library for an in-depth discussion on what makes a larger-than-life character. We will analyze the main characters in Ian McEwan’s book Amsterdam and discuss what makes and doesn’t make a great character. We will also go into developing character’s strengths, weaknesses, inner-conflicts, wit, and how to make dark protagonists work in a story.
